Making the Photo: Fired Up

Welcome to the “Making the Photo” by Dear Bubbles for February 2026! This month, I’m walking through how I made “Fired Up " in Acadia National Park, Maine, in October 2010. I picked this image to review based on our conversation immediately after the live taping of December’s “Making the Photo” session. You ask, you shall receive! The question posed was whether a photograph with a dark subject against a light background can be successful. In short, absolutely!
